The group mainly manufactures manufacturing (silk manufacturing and new building materials manufacturing), circulation industry (coal, metal materials, liquefied petroleum gas, import and export), service industry (hotels, commerce and trade).
For five consecutive years, the group achieved a 30% increase in sales revenue, a 20% increase in profits and taxes, and a record high in 2009, achieving a total sales of 2 billion yuan and a profit tax of 60 million yuan.

Inheritance and development of Chinese silk, vigorously develop circular economy, enterprises have won the national harmonious labor relations advanced, Zhejiang circular economy demonstration enterprise and advanced manufacturing base and other honorary titles.
The group is the first to participate in CHIC, according to its group leader Ling Lanfang, after ten years of entrepreneurship, the group's 16 enterprises, in 2010, sales revenue reached 2 billion yuan.

In the past 3 years, the capacity of the Silk Road Group has doubled, and its production capacity of 3000 tons of raw silk, 10 million meters of fabrics, 300 thousand pieces of clothing and home textiles has been doubled.
At the same time, the company also established a front road production base and a high value-added post road production base, and initially established R & D and brand centers.
In the opening year of the national "12th Five-Year plan", the Silk Road Group also formulated its own development goals, namely, building brand silk, scientific silk and cultural silk, enhancing the R & D and marketing capabilities of enterprises, further changing the way of development, and realizing the strategic goal of pformation and upgrading of enterprises.
